The Clearing was created in October 2007 in a café over coffee!
It’s the perfect vehicle for me to share my life experiences, training and skills with others.
My vision for The Clearing is to create and deliver world class retreats and trainings. The Clearing provides a space where people can safely explore, grow and gain greater insight & clarity.
My commitment to you is to meet you where you are and guide you to where you want to be. You will leave The Clearing’s programmes inspired and pulled to take action.

BA - Education/Psychology, MA (Hons) - Psychology, Certificate In Early Childhood Care and Education, Certificate in Social and Community Work, Certified NLP Practitioner, Certificate in Eriksonian Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy™, Certified Instructor of Transforming Communication, Certified Reiki II Practitioner.
So now you know the pieces of paper which hang on my wall, let me tell you who I am REALLY!
My life to date has been filled with decades of:
- Loving involvement with my nuclear and extended family
- Service to others through voluntary and paid work
- Passionate enjoyment of singing, poetry, the written word, and dancing
- Deep appreciation for the natural beauty of our world
- Abiding belief in the intelligence of the universe
- Unwavering desire to guide others to see their own MAGNIFICENCE
- Being childlike – vulnerable, fun, creative, enthusiastic with lots of naps
- Dreaming – big, small, realistic, impossible
- Quiet, thoughtful, meditative moments
- Evidence of the powerful link between body, mind and soul
- Amazing people, dedicated to their own journeys, whose paths have crossed with mine
- Daily lessons – some pain-filled, others challenging, still others pain-less
- Giving 100%, and then some
- Blessings which humble and renew me
I am a person who has been shaped by the myriad experiences of my life and who gives thanks daily for the many opportunities to further shape my being. I am a work in progress, dedicated to living a joy-filled, inspired, creative, fulfilled life!
